Property Taxes

Tax bills are mailed out in mid-December.

Wisconsin state law requires that tax bills be mailed to the property owner of record.  If you receive a tax bill and you are no longer the property owner of record, please return the tax bill, including a phone number and/or email address to:

Village of Mount Calvary
P.O Box 205
Mount Calvary, WI  53057

How to Pay Your Taxes

First installments are due on or before January 31.  Payments can be made via mail or deposited in the village drop box at the south entrance of the Village Hall/Firehouse.  Payment amounts are included on the payment stub(s), located at the bottom of our tax bill(s).  Enclose the appropriate payment stub(s) with your payment.  Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if return receipt is requested.  Please do not enclose the original tax bill(s).
Mail 1st installment to:

Village of Mount Calvary
P.O Box 205
Mount Calvary, WI  53057

Second installment is payable on or before July 31 to Fond du Lac County Treasurer.  The payment amounts are included on the payment stub(s), located at the bottom of your tax bill.  Enclose appropriate payment stub(s) with your payment. Mail payment(s) to the Fond du Lac County Treasurer at the appropriate location listed on the real estate payment stub. Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if return receipt is requested. Do not enclose the original tax bill.

Payments will be accepted in the form of a check, cashier's check or money order.  No cash please.

Verify that the escrow check meets or exceeds the tax bill amount and endorse the escrow check.  Overpayments will be refunded within 4-5 weeks of payment.

Note:  If payment is not made by the due dates, the installment option is lost and the total tax is delinquent and subject to interest and penalty.  See the reverse side of your tax bill for a complete explanation.

If you have any questions regarding your tax bill(s), please leave a message for the treasurer Lori Schrage, at 920-753-2230 or via email at mschrage@charter.net . She will get back to you.
